Lány
Lány became the favourite country residence of T. G. Masaryk, the first Czechoslovak president, and this has led the small hunting château built on the site of a 14th century fortress to become the traditional summer residence of Czech presidents.
The Chateau is not open to the public.
The park is open to visitors (open to the public since 1990): Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each year in the period from the Saturday before Easter until October 31 and on the day of the birth and on the day of the death of the president T. G. Masaryk (March 7 and September 14 - the Park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
